A University Medalist, Chrissie’s career has been multi-faceted and substantial. She is a health process engineer with broad range of research, analytic, development and project management skills. Chrissie is a compassionate team player with a strategic focus and the capacity to engineer innovative mechanisms to deliver healthcare infrastructure and programs to communities in need. Establishing Private Practice 

Since 2004, Chrissie’s focus has been on establishing medical practices, large scale health developments and optimising health services under the banner of Establishing Private Practice. This consultancy was developed as a result of her experience establishing Bribie Island Skin Cancer Clinic with her husband, Dr Peter Norton. Establishing Private Practice is experienced in delivering all scales of project ranging from the addition of a consulting room for an established surgery through to the strategic planning of largescale private hospitals and health hubs.

Health Engineering

Given the refinement of Chrissie’s unique health process engineering skillset, her consultancy service was redefined to Health Engineering in 2017. Through Health Engineering, Chrissie is able to offer a combination of health service diagnostics, service planning to develop models of care, economic modelling integrating diversified revenue streams and operational optimisation to examine service efficiency and sustainability.
